Seriously ? RVing-Living the Dream?
Come on, admit it. Some of your best times were spent camping. Remember sitting around the fire pit? It’s a time of singing, laughing, hot dog roasting, S’Mores.
What better way is there to get to know people, build relationships, or just simply block out, for a season, all the noise of daily living.
Imagine if that were always available to you just outside your RV. And of course, inside your RV are all of your toys.
Today’s RVs include entertainment centers with surround sound, HD TV with DVR, and computers with WiFi. Even your X-box or other game system can come along for the ride. In the modern RV, there’s room for your king-size bed. You can have a washer-dryer. You can have leather sofas and recliners. You can have sewing machines for quilting and embroidery. You just really don’t have to give up much of anything. And best of all, when you’ve seen and done all there is to do around your home, you can raise the leveling jacks, pull in the slides, and move on down the road to another place of interest.
Our motorhome has a slogan on the back that sums up modern RVing. “Roughing it Smoothly”. We have really gotten into that !
This site is all about RVing. Let us help you choose your RV, based on how you expect to use it, what’s important to you as you travel, budget considerations etc. Once you know your RVing style, you can look at the pros and cons of the different RV types. Is a motorhome right for you? Would a travel trailer be a better fit? There’s an RV type that’s just right for you. We have good information on all the different RV types.
We also have lots of tips to make your experience easier, modifications to make things simpler, and everyday essentials that are common to all RVers.
Our Travel Blog
Ride along with us as we travel across the country. Read about our experiences as we move from place to place, taking side trips, day trips, and meeting people along the way.
Finally, we invite you to use our forms to ask questions, make comments, and share your own RVing experiences. RVers are much like one big happy family. Sharing helps others to avoid pitfalls, to see sights that might otherwise be missed, or to find great places to spend a winter. We also are adding a review section where we give our opinions on campgrounds complete with videos, restaurants, places to visit.etc. JoAnn even has a section where she reviews quilt shops.
