“walnut bar”
While shopping in an orchard stand (in nut country) we noticed this beautiful slab of walnut that barkeepers and furniture makers the world over would die for. This was a “left over scrap” from a huge walnut tree  that had to be removed from the family walnut grove.  Another “scrap” forms the back counter and two others were used as counter tops in the bathrooms.  I almost cried…….then I noticed the 100 or more acres of walnut and pecan trees on the farm.
