365 Challenge 2016 Day 259

Carl Sandburg Home

Carl Sandburg’s Home, where he lived his latter years with his wife.  He wrote a large number of his poems and stories from inside these walls.  His wife out-lived him by a number of years, and raised prize winning goats on the property. The descendants of those goats still reside on the place today, and one even recently won a national goat competition.  See JoAnn’s post for pictures of the goats.
